Behind The Ear Hearing Aids

Receiver In The Canal (RIC)

This style is commonly called receiver-in-the-ear (RITE) or receiver-in-the-canal (RIC). This style is suitable for mild to profound hearing losses, and was specifically developed for people who have a sloping style hearing loss (hearing that is worse for the high frequencies). They provide stable amplification and significantly improved sound quality, and compared to custom devices they have more features, control options and battery capacity. They are available with rechargeable batteries and they come in a wide range of sizes, shapes and colours. Most popular!

We provide RICs from different brands such as Oticon, Signia, Widex, Phonak, Unitron, Starkey, GN Resound, et cetera.

Behind The Ear (BTE)

BTE models fit behind the ear and are inserted into the ear using either a thin tube and dome or an earmould, depending on the level of the hearing loss. A BTE with an earmould can be one of the easiest styles to manage. They are suitable for mild to profound hearing losses and can have more features, control options and battery capacity than custom devices. They are available with rechargeable batteries and they come in a wide range of sizes, shapes and colours.

We provide BTEs from different brands such as Oticon, Signia, Widex, Phonak, Unitron, Starkey, GN Resound, et cetera.
